11 PLEASANT STREET CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Brunswick:  Take Exit 28 from I-295.  At the intersection where Rt. 1 splits to the left, continue going straight on Pleasant St. toward downtown.  The Center for the Arts will be on your right about a block before the intersection with Maine St.  It is a large white-ish building with a "Georgetown Pottery" sign.  The entrance is on the left side of the building, the ballroom is on the second floor. 

AMERICAN BALLROOM DANCE ACADEMY

62 Forest Ave., Portland  Take exit 6a off I-295 (Forest Ave. exit).  Proceed toward intersection with Cumberland Ave.  The studio is on the right, next door to the left from YMCA, second floor. 

ATLANTIC HEALTH AND FITNESS
(FORMERLY HARBOURSIDE ATHLETIC CLUB)
1 Raynes Ave, Portsmouth, NH. Take 95 to Exit 7. Take Market Street towards Downtown Portsmouth (take a Right if coming from points south and take a Left if coming from Maine). Go Right on Russell Street then Right on Deer Street. Go Right on Maplewood at the lights. Take your second Right by Cindy Ann Cleaners onto Raynes Avenue. Atlantic Health and Fitness is on the Left. Parking and the Club entrance are to the Right of the building.  

BAY SCHOOL, BLUE HILL

Blue Hill is on DeLorme Atlas Map number 15. 
Take Route 15 south through Blue Hill, take left on South Street at top of hill
(Rt 175/172) past grocery store, Bay School is 1/2 mile on right.

BROOKSVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER

Brooksville is on DeLorme Atlas Map number 15. 
From Blue Hill, take Route 15 toward Stonington.  Stay with Route 15 even though it makes right-angle turns.  Going up a shallow hill, you will come to Route 175 NORTH - Coastal Road - on your right.  Take it. (Route 175 SOUTH proceeds straight ahead, eventually going over the Deer Isle Bridge!)   When Route 175 NORTH branches off to the right and becomes Bagaduce Road, stay on the left fork which is still Coastal Road but is now Route 176.  Stay on this road into Buck's Harbor.  Turn right on Cornfield Hill Road in the middle of Buck's Harbor, just past Condon's Garage.  (The Buck's Harbor Market will be on your left).  Go up the hill a very short way and the Community Center is on your left.

BLUE GOOSE

Northport is on DeLorme Atlas Map number 14. 
This dance hall is on Route 1, on the ocean side (i.e. on the right if you are coming from the south, on the left if you are coming from the north).  Just a little south of Belfast.

BLUE HILL TOWN HALL

Blue Hill is on DeLorme Atlas Map number 15. 
From the west/south, take Route 15 out of Bucksport going toward Mt. Desert Island. Stay on Route 15 all the way to the Town Hall. It will leave Route 1 shortly after Bucksport, turning right at a gas station/convenience store. 

After several  meanderings, Route 15 will land in the middle of  Blue Hill and take a 90-degree right turn. Proceed to the center of town, and the Town Hall will be in a fork in the road, a large white Greek Revival structure with  columns. Parking is around the back of the building  if you take the  right-hand fork in the road (across from Merril and Hinckley store), or  along the street.

CAMDEN - AMERICAN LEGION HALL

Traveling South on Route 1, pass the center of Camden, go to the Exxon station and make a right turn on John Street, go one block to Pearl Street and make another right. The Legion hall is on the left side of the street.
Traveling on Route l North, left on John Street at the Exxon Station before the center of Camden, then one block to Pearl Street and make a right turn. The Hall is on the left.

CAMP KETCHA

From Maine Turnpike: Take Exit 6, and go straight after the tollbooth, through
the stoplight onto Haigis Parkway. Follow Haigis Parkway to next stoplight, and take a Left onto Rt.1. Follow Rt.1 for 1.4miles. Look for Amatos Sandwich Shop on Right. Take a Right onto Black Point Rd. Follow for 2.8 miles. Camp Ketcha will be on the Left.

From Rt.1 Scarborough: Follow Rt.1 South through Scarborough to Oak Hill.
Look for Burger King (on Right), Mobil (on Left) and Amatos.  Take a Left at this stoplight onto Black Point Rd. Follow for 2.8 miles. Camp Ketcha will be on the Left.

CASCO BAY MOVERS STUDIO

517 Forest Ave. in Portland is the new location.  It's just about on the corner with Dartmouth St.  Take Exit 6A/6B from I-295 and go away from the Old Port area.  You will pass Bedford St and Falmouth St on the left.  Dartmouth is a few blocks further on, and there is a traffic light.
Old location at 151 St. John St. in Portland, next to the Metro Bus garage.  Take Exit 5 off of I-295 (Congress Street East).  Proceed on Congress to its intersection with St. John and take a right.  The studio is several blocks ahead on the left.  It has a small sign that is easy to miss.

DOVER CITY HALL

288 Central Ave, Dover NH. Take exit 8E off the Spaulding Turnpike (Route 16) onto Silver Street. Go straight thru 2 sets of lights. Silver Street ends at the 3rd set of lights. Bear left onto Central Ave. The City Hall is a few blocks up on your left, at the corner of Central and Hale Streets, and is marked “Municipal Building” . There is plenty of street parking around the building. The Auditorium is on the second floor.

ECHO HILL DANCE HALL

Thomaston: 5 miles down Route 131 from Route 1 at Montpelier in Thomaston

FALMOUTH CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH

Falmouth: Take the Bucknam Rd. exit from Route 295.  go to the Route 9 intersection (Nina's variety) and go left-ish at the light, follow sign to Town Hall.  At about 1 mile, turn right, again following sign to Town Hall.  The church is on the right at about 2.4 miles from the Route 9 intersection.  White building, park around back.  

If you are coming from Route 1, turn onto Bucknam Road across from the Shaw's supermarket shopping center and follow the above directions.

GEORGE STEVENS ACADEMY, BLUE HILL

Follow directions for Blue Hill Town Hall (see above).  Pass by the Town Hall building on the Merrill and Hinckley Store side.  GSA is right there. 207/374-2808

GILBERT'S GALLERY/CENTRAL HALL, LEWISTON

Take turnpike exit 80/Lewiston onto Alfred Plourde Parkway.  Take the Lewiston/196W exit on the right.  Merge onto Lisbon St/196W.  At 8th stoplight (about 2.5 miles down the road), turn left onto Ash.  Before the stop sign, turn left into the parking garage (free on weekends.)  Go to the fourth level.  Take the first blue walkway to Gilbert's Gallery/Central Hall.

GIORDANO'S, WINSLOW

From Route 137 (China Road) turn onto North Pond Road and go about a mile, on your left

GOTTA DANCE 2 

90 Bridge St. in the Dana Warp Mill.  Take Exit 8 from Maine Turnpike, go west on Route 25 (Brighton Avenue) to Main St. Westbrook.  Turn left on Main St.  At CVS, turn right onto Bridge St.  Cross the river, and the Mill will be the large brick building on your left.  Use the door with the handicapped entrance.  The elevator is right behind the door at the end of the hall.  Gotta Dance 2 studio is on the 4th floor, through the door and down the hallway on the right.   207/321-1240, got2danc@maine.rr.com

Gott Family Restaurant is in the North Brewer Shopping Center, on North Main Street in Brewer.

HAMPDEN GRANGE

Hampden is on DeLorme Atlas Map 23.  (Did you know that this grange, the Eastern Star, was the first one in Maine?)
If you're coming from the south, take Rt.1A to where Rt. 9 intersects (by Irving station in Hampden). Turn onto Rt. 9 and go for 2.2 miles to the Emerson Mill Rd. on your right. The Hampden Grange is about 0.2 mile on your left. 
If you're coming from Bangor, get onto Rt.202 from Rt.395 and go all the way to the end where Rt. 9 intersects. Hang a right and go about 2 miles to the Emerson Mill Rd. on your right. The grange is 0.2 mile on your left on the Emerson Mill Road.

HARMONY HALL

North Yarmouth: Two ways to get there (1) North on the turnpike to Gray, then east for several miles on RT.115 until you see the sign on your left  (2) Up to Yarmouth then west on Rt.115

MELODY RANCH
Fairfield.  At the intersection of Routes 139 and 104

MORGAN HILLS
Hermon. From Bangor, take Route 2 to Hermon.  Go past the intersection with Coldbrook Rd.  Look for a large white building on the left, 1/10 mile before Central Maine Harley-Davidson.

NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE
Northeast Harbor.  30 minutes from Ellsworth.  Take Route 3 over the Trenton bridge, go straight on Route 198 through Town Hill to the Somesville stop light, take left and follow Route 198 to Northeast Harbor.  Stay on Main Street through town.  Neighborhood House is at the head of the street.  Phone 207/276-5039.

NORTH DEERING GRANGE
Portland.  Go west on Washington Avenue.  The road forks just where the Grange is located, on the left. Make a hairpin turn in front of Lib's Ice Cream Stand and park on the first side street to your right.

ORONO COMMUNITY CENTER
(also known as the Keith Anderson Community Center) Take exit 50 off of I-95 at Orono (just north of Bangor). Follow the signs towards University of Maine. Once you have reached "Downtown" Orono on Route 2, turn left at the light onto Bennoch Road (follow signs "To Alton"). The Community Center is just behind the Post Office, very near the Route 2/Bennoch Road intersection. Park along street, in the post office lot or the municipal parking lot across the street.

PEAK'S HILL LODGE
Dedham is on DeLorme Atlas Map 23.  Near the intersection of Routes 1A and 46 in East Holden, take Upper Dedham Rd. south (entrance is across from the gas station/convenience store) to Peaks Hill Road, which will be on the left. There's a big sign for Peaks Hill Lodge. Phone 843-7080.

PRESUMPSCOT GRANGE
1844 Forest Avenue, Portland  The easiest way we have found is to take the Westbrook exit from the Maine Turnpike, take an immediate right at the lights, proceed until you get to Forest Ave, take a right (there will be a convenience store in front of you on the corner), and it's just a block or so away, on the right-hand side of the road.  Or, leave downtown Portland and stay on Forest Avenue going west.  Almost immediately after you go under the turnpike, the grange will be on your left.

SHERATON HOTEL IN BANGOR (a.k.a. "Four Points by Sheraton")
From I95 going north: take Exit 47 At the top of the exit take a left. Go to the 4th stop light and take another left. You will be on the airport/hotel property. 
From I95 going south: Take exit 47. At the top of the exit take a right. Go to the 3rd stop light and take a left. You will be on the airport/hotel property. 
Park in short term parking and all parking tickets will be validated at the front desk upon departure on a complimentary basis.

SIMONTON CORNERS COMMUNITY HALL, ROCKPORT
From Southern Maine: take Rt 1 North to Waldoboro.  Go right on Rt 90 East.  Take Rt 90 to intersection of Rt 17 in Rockport.  (Or, take Rt I-95 to Augusta, get on Rt 17 east, and take it to the intersection of Rt 90 in Rockport.)  Take Park St. at this 5-way intersection.  Continue on Park St. until you come to a 4-way intersection, this is Simonton Corner, the Community Hall is on the right.
From Downeast: take Rt 1 South to Camden.  Go through town and up hill. Just after "Subway" sandwich shop, turn right onto St.James St.  Continue to the first 4-way intersection and turn left onto Simonton Rd.  The next intersection (Main St.) is Simonton corner.  The Community Hall is on the left. Sorrento Community Hall, Sorrento, ME  Go approximately 12
miles east of Ellsworth on Rt 1.  Turn right on Rt 185 just before a Citgo
station. Bear left/straight at the fork and continue approximately 2 miles
on Rt 185, the hall is just past the golf course on the left.If coming from
downeast the turn onto Rt 185 is a mile or so past Sumner High School.

SORRENTO COMMUNITY HALL, SORRENTO
Go approximately 12 miles east of Ellsworth on Rt 1.  Turn right on Rt 185 just before a Citgo station. Bear left/straight at the fork and continue approximately 2 miles on Rt 185, the hall is just past the golf course on the left. If coming from
downeast the turn onto Rt 185 is a mile or so past Sumner High School.

THOMAS SCHOOL OF DANCE, BANGOR
The school is at 14 State Street.  From I-95, take the Union Street (exit 47) or Hammond Street exit, and head into the center of Bangor.  You will merge into Main Street.  From I-395 take exit 3 and follow Main Street into town.  From Route 1-A, come across the bridge from Brewer and turn downhill on Main St.  Main Street becomes State Street (Route 2). 

TRENTON GRANGE
Trenton is on DeLorme Atlas Map 16.  The Trenton Grange Hall is located between the Trenton Bridge and the Trenton Airport on Route 3 near its intersection with Route 230. From the North, go toward Bar Harbor past the airport, the Grange Hall is on the left after the Gateway Lobster pound. From the south, its a half mile north of the bridge on the right.

United Methodist Church, SOUTH PORTLAND
Coming from Portland, take the Rt. 77-Casco Bay Bridge to South Portland.  At the end of the bridge, take a Right onto Broadway.  At the 2nd light, take a Right onto Elm St.  The church is a couple of blocks down on the Right.

UU SOCIETY, BANGOR
Dances are at the Unitarian Universalist Society building, 120 Park St., Bangor, near City Hall and the library.

WELL FORMS, BREWER

Take Interstate 95 to York Exit. Follow short spur road East to traffic lights. Turn left onto Route 1 North. Follow north approximately 1 mile to next set of lights. Turn right onto Old Post Road. In approximately 1 mile, at top of hill, turn left onto Ridge Road. Turn right (about 1/2 mile) onto Webber Road. York High School is on the right.
