Class 8.  3:45-4:45  FLASHY MOVES FOR JAMS.  Well,  even though the best part of Lindy Hop is how good it feels to connect with your partner and the song,  we all love to have some really flashy moves in our back pockets.  We'll teach you some of our favorites!  This class is suitable for intermediate/advanced dancers,  but newer dancers are welcome to take the class with a non-rotating partner.

About Kevin and Sarah:

Kevin St. Laurent and Sarah Spence Adams have each been teaching and
performing lindy hop across the globe for the last several years. After a
spontaneous and successful competition together at Swingin' New England
2006, Kevin and Sarah have begun working together, developing a variety of
new material that combines their dance styles and techniques.

Kevin is known for his ability to adapt his dancing to complement the style
and tempo of the music. His primary focus is musical interpretation and
partner connection. Fast driving tempos inspire him to "fly" at high
altitudes while slower, groovier songs bring out his fancy footwork.
Regardless of tempo or style, Kevin's versatility, musicality, and
creativity have shown to create a powerful and energetic dance. With Carla
Heiney, Kevin holds a variety of titles including two time American Lindy
Hop Champions (2001 & 2002), two time US Open Lindy Hop Champions (2001 & 2002), and two time North Atlantic Lindy Hop Champions (2002 & 2003).

In Sarah's classes, she emphasizes using strong partner connection, partner
awareness, and solid technique to create powerful and innovative dancing.
She brings to the social dance floor energy and creativity but emphasizes
that a strong partnership during every dance is the key to swing dancing. A
member of the influential dance troupes Minnies Moochers and Mad Dog!,
Sarah is an articulate dance instructor who has also won a variety of
international, national, and regional competitions at events including the
Ultimate Lindy
